Work the BONES, Girl!!

In highschool i always wanted to study medicine, but when PSU (University Selection test) was near i started having serious doubt about it. Then i found the career i am studying now, Anthropology and i fell in love with it. I liked it because it was very complete and I did not want to choose between humanities and sciences, at least not as exclusive manner. So now i’m going to tell you about what i expect to be my future as anthropologist.

Well, first of all i need to specialize in some of the three áreas of anthropology, they are: Social anthropology, Biological anthropology and archaeology. The mention i like the most it is biological anthropology, because it is very near biological careers, like medicine that was my very first interest.

I would love to work with bones, that it’s for me the most interesting and fun activities of this career. I want to work identifying people, i think that it’s so important to give to remains an identity, don’t treat them just like dead thongs, there where persons some time ago and they have a story to tell.

As a result of the nature of work with bone my job would be majority indoors. But sometimes i will have to go to field to collect the remains, i supposed.

Because of the small workplace of this career in Chile, there are not majors of it, at least in this country. But with this in mind i could think about travel to another country to specialices.

In conclusion i would love to be like BONES <3

The Terrible Wall Street: a world full of ambitious and corruption (INSIDE JOB)

We all have the memorie of some kind of crisis that struck the world and the huge consequences that it produced. Well, the documental called “inside Job” shows us the world of Wall Street and his dark, twisted secrets; in the movie they interpellate the people responsible of the 2008's crisis and reveal the life full of vices and excesses that the most important men of economy live. I want to show you my impressions about this documental and tell you how i think it’s very necessary we all watch it, with this intention i am going to present you the two arguments that i think were the most important to indicate the problems that corruption brings to us.

The first thing that calls my attention was the fake image that we have about U.S.A, we think that is one of the most successful country in the world, where the american dream come true and everyone has their place. But if that was true some time ago, now it isn't. The continuous bad administration and dark transactions left this country with one of the most unequal societies of developed countries. All these increase with the last crisis.

One of the most compelling evidence it is the Little money that state invest in public universities, they look minimized if we compare them with the private ones like Harvard. Obviouslythe vast majority of the population can not afford such education.

Consistently with what I told you before this documental makes me realize the big consequences that awful administration  and conflicts of interest mixed with a world wide crisis may bring to the population in a huge country like U.S.A. and i think it’s a good way to start questioning how irresponsables activities of powerful persons can be so dangerous to all of us.

Finally i invite you to reflexion  about this and think of how many problems of our own country might be consequences of ambition and vicious actitudes.

SAY WHAAAAAAAAT?!: I’ve never been on a concert

Hi!! Today’s blog it supposed to be of the best concert i’ve had, but we have a huge problem with that because this girl, even if you don’t believe me, has never been on a concert.

I mean… may be i have been on a few live performances with some famous artists, who i can't remember right now, but it’s not the same thing as going to a massive show with other five thousand people around you, all of them enjoying together  the frenesy caused by the rythm of music and the awesome lights that let you blind every single time they cross in front of you. I can’t imagine how cool must be that experience.

I’m not gonna lie to you, i’m more like a lonely girl that one who loves crowd, but i think that concerts are an incredible opportunity to... i don't know maybe wild it up life a little bit (i don´t know what the hell i just wrote, i don´t know if that expression even exists, but i felt it and i wrote it) and just live one moment of craziness without thinking about what other people might say.

Ok, i wrote a lot of sentimental stuff that would be pretty awesome if i had really gone to a concert, but it is not the case.

Once upon a time there was a girl who dreams about going to the concert of her favourite band, but then that dream exploded in thousand of pieces when they cancelled the tour because of an unknowing razon. Well this is what happened the time when i wanted to go to a concert, i was seventeen years old and i had a heart full of dreams and the mutable beats of pop music, those tickets for Coldplay were going to be my birthday present but everything went wrong.

From those days until now i hate Coldplay (LIE) and i hate more Taylor Swift (TRUE) because she doesn't even think of coming here to perform her girly/magical/ seems like a unicorn show. She is definitely racist (Ok, that is too much… maybe).

Bye bye i hope you liked it. XOXO (Hahahah i feel soooooo Gossip Girl).

The Playlist of my Life

HI! In this second post on my blog i am going to drive you through my life but in a very fun way, i am going to show you the playlist of my life, it means the music that it was and it is important for me.

Let’s start with some music that it is very closet o my heart because it was the one that make dream about awsome adventures when i was little, and it made me feel superpowerful. I am talking about the songs of my favourite TV shows, generaly anime series like Digimon, Slam Dunk, and Dragon Ball1

Somer other songs og my childhood that i have never forget it is ninethy’s pop like Backstreet Boys, the girls classic Britney Spears and a Young Christina Aguilera who sings in spanish.

Now i still enjoying pop music but i am going to talk you about the other genres that i like.

Sometimes i need some soft and more simple rhythms and then is when i listen to music more close to indie/ folk genre. This songs can make you feel a lot of emotions from joy to deep sadness. I like groups like Mumford and Sons, The civil Wars and Of Monsters and Men.

Mumford & Sons - The Cave

I really love a song from The civil Wars featurin Taylor Swift it is not what she usually does but for me this mix it's perfect.
Talking about Taylor, she is one of my favourite singer, this pop/country artist brings out the most girly and romantic part of me, her lyrics are about love and splits and all the feelings involves.

When a im in the mod of party and dancing i like pop/electronic music, their beats really turns me on and energizes me.

Generally i listen to more music in english, but one of the latin rhythm i enjoy are the one you can dance with like Joe Vasconcellos, Rafaga, and all that groups that make you have alot of fun with your friends. I also like Francisca Valenzuela and some other classics like “Los Momentos”, “Arriba en la Cordillera”, “Volver a los 17”.

Here i post videos of a few of my favourite songs, i hope you like it:

I fell in love with that exquisite bright blue sea , i could imagine myself swimming there and enjoying the warm sun.

I dream of taking long walks through those steep streets sorrounded by little white houses, that for meare the iconic postcard of Greece.
